We are a small long established service providing preschool to children from 2 years and 6 months to school going age. We are currently open from 8.30am to 12pm and providing early years education to 14 children. We have a fabulous outdoor area that we are currently using for much of the day. We are recruiting a preschool leader with Fetac level 7/8 to take a leadership role in the service alongside an assistant with LINC and 7 years service in Poppets.
Your duties will include,
*Observing and listening to the children and developing suitable programs and activities to promote every area of each child’s development.
*Organising and setting up a safe and interesting environment where children are engaged and enabled to reach their full potential.
*Recording daily observations of each child’s interaction and interests in a daily communication journal.
*Liaising with parents on a weekly basis, keeping them up to date with their child’s progress and development.
*Working in partnership with one other member of staff
Minimum 2 years experience in a preschool teaching capacity.

We are currently recruiting for two positions relief childcare practitioner to cover sick/absentee leave and a room leader. The successful candidates will work in partnership with the team and management for the efficient running of the service. These are term time contracts. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Childcare Practitioners will:
